Help with EG steering column cover!
Already searched, lots of close info, but still not what I need.
I have a '92 CX w/ a tilt steering column from a '93 Si. My question is this:
Can I use the stock blue steering column plastic covers from the CX on the Si tilt column? The bottom part of the blue CX cover does not look like it'd fit over the tilt lever. Has anyone done this? There's like a 1.5" hole at the bottom left of the blue CX cover, and it looks like it COULD fit the tilt lever, but I want to research before I go taking it all apart.
For you 5th gen'ers w/ tilt...does the tilt lever just go thru that hole, or are your columns different and have a slit or bigger hole or what?
Thanks!

Your stock upper cover will work just fine, but you will need the lower cover from a tilt wheel civic (Black Si Cover = $17.91 at HondaAutomotiveParts.com).
If you ever need to crossreference parts, do it at HondaAutomotiveParts.com. It works great, and I do it ALL the time. It takes a little practice to know where to find everything, but it only gets easier...
