The term suicide doors was coined in the mid 1920s. It was saying that if you jumped from a moving car with the doors open backwards you might not clear the door and get killed by the door instead of jumping to safty.

I want Lamborghini doors really really bad. Do you know who's crx that is so I could posssibly contact them? Anybody know anybody else that has them or more info on how its done?

 

That CRX has been around for a few years now. A while back it sold on eBay. So who knows who has it now. The doors were made by Vector inc. They are the same company that is in GT2 and such. The doors cost $10,000 US for the pair. Here is a link for all of the info that you might need.

It sometimes will not work because it has exceeded its allocated data tranfer amount. So you will just have to try agin if you want to see it.

I remember that thing selling on ebay a few years ago. It was nice. Had some little engine problems though.

if you want suicide doors go buy an older lincoln they come with them factory....but i think suicide doors are strictly for older "hotrod" cars....think American Graffitti!!!! I also like them on only the best of show trucks..SHOW ONLY!!

yea they look good on mini truck and stuff, but hey that reminds me does anybody remember that commercial with the saturn and the tenzo r hatch? when the saturn opened its suicide rear doors the ricers in the tenzo hatch are all like " how did you trick out those doors.."

Look if you dont like a car keep it to your self and stop bashing. The CRX is one of the main platforms that has launched many import vehicles, which include, DelSol, S2000, Insight, just to name a few. They are cheaper costing for mods and performance products than your GSR. They also get alot better gas milage than your GSR. They also have about 50% cleaper insurance than your GSR. And if you sepnt $5000 on your GSR for performance products and I did the same for my CRX, I would hand your *** to you in a race. So other than your GSR being newer than CRXs, shut the hell up. Oh Ya they are also one of the most used import Drag vehicle on the import Drag surcuit.

LOL I remember that commercial when they are all in the gas station. I like that Civic alot it looks really clean for the amount of mods.

While I can not see the pics of the CRX, I am assuming it is the black Twin Turbo with Lambo style doors. Am I right? If so, this belonged to a guy that I know named Romeo. He lives in Atlanta, and is currently driving a bad *** NSX. I am not buddy buddy with him, but if you have questions about it, I know where to find him and can ask.
