I was at the gas station this mourning between classes and a guy in a accord rolls up and asks if I'd be interested in a exhaust system.He says he had a crx and got an exhaust system for it but wrecked the car before he got a chance to put it on,says the mounts/hangers are the same,just have to lengthen the midpipe a "couple" of inches and it will bolt right up.Is this guy full of **** or is he correct and I can mod his crx exhaust if I like the looks of it?

 

i think that sounds right. i think i remember reading a thread about a certain exhaust that was only made for the rex only and there was a comment about just lengthening it up a few inches for it to fit a hatch.

it will not work with out some extending,you need to lengthen the part te leaves the muffler then goes out to to the tip of the exhaust,i have a greddy exhaust from a 91 crx si on my 91 hb.

 

What would be the benefit (with the exception of money) in putting a Rex on a hatch?

 

cuz i got it for $75 brand new with a few hundred miles on it when it goes for several hundred $$$
