I got a 97 civic ex turbocharged. Yesterday car cranked up fine twice and went to crank this morning and wouldn't turn over. I have checked for spark, unplugged ecu, checked the fuel pressure, tried to jump battery and it is fine and everything checks out. Live in Georgia and it doesn't get very cold here but last nite was in the twenties. I don't know if anything would freeze but tried to start it this afternoon and same thing. Car will try to crank and then just keep trying but never turn over all the way. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

when you turn the key on do you hear clicking noise in the front and a humming noise in the trunk??

 

Yes the fuel pump comes on but there is no clicking noise as the car tries to turn over but doesn't. Anymore ideas?

 

check compression < definately check and compare to specs..
and make sure your block isnt frozen from wrong anti freeze mixture...
