can i use accord parts to get a 4x113 bolt pattern
ive got a 92 dx hatch and as stupid as some of you might think it is, i really wanna use the 4 lug type r wheels (off the 96 i think), i can get a set with tires for dirt cheap. so my question, can i use accord or prelude parts to create the 4x113 bolt pattern. have any of you guys ever done this on a 4x100 car? any info is appreciated, if you dont have anything possitive to say, please dont post, thanks.
Theres a few how to's out there to do prelude on civics, not sure where the threads are though. Look up Emerika i believe he did one.
ya i tried searching around but i really cant find the info that i need on the topic, baybe im just not using the right word to search with, anyone else?
Dude, I tried to find out the same info because I got a nice set of 17's off my old Accord that I wanted to put on my CHB, but no dice. Could not find any info, and the only advise I got from someone was to use wheel adapters, which every one says is a bad idea.

There's gotta be some kind of adapter you can use. While they aren't built to handle insane racing stress, they should be ok for 95 percent of cars out there.
Oh yeah, I've heard some bad things too, I'm just saying that this is the only thing I know that would enable you to do this.
yo just us the 96 type-r disck conversion from www.passwordjdm.com there only like 400 for the complete conversion. Plus if you are using the 96 type-r rims there lug pat is not 4x113 it is 4x114.
bump again. youd think if you could swap the actual hub/bearing assembly by having it pressed in, and use redrilled rotors, this would work, only issue being if the accord's hub is too wide in diameter to clear a civic's rotors (EX and SI ok probably but the 9.5" rotors of a DX who knows) and if the offset of the accord hub is the same. meaning, if it will move the lug studs further out or more in.

yeah i think, but why would u want to use accord or prelude parts when you are using type-r rims, the r rims are 4x114 so the accord or lude knuckles would not work.
