Default Attn. LS crower cam users

I am ready to order the crower cams for a ls which do u reccomend


the 403 or the 404 and if u have any experience with either of them give me your thoughts.

I would go with the 403s unless you are planning on racing often. In that case go with the 404s. They will have a shitty idle if you dont have a standalone or some sort of fuel controller.

Yeah i had the 403s but i sold them to 97blackteg. I had some more headwork done and i am moving up to the bigger cams.

They will probably work well. Nitrous likes high compression and big cams.

the 404's will definatly give you more power. i just put 404's on my b20 block w/+4 on the intake cam gear and -2 on the exhaust. i had to bump idle up to around 800 for it not to stall out. they're nice.

I just got off the phone with Brian out at Crower. He says the best cams to run on a turbo application are the stage 2t. For an ls the part number is 62402-$401 and the springs/retainers kit is 84162-$326. You can go with the different stages, but they make a turbo grind for a reason. Just my .02.

Brian insists that but owning nearly every Crower came xcept for the 62405 there are far better choices for LS turbo owners.
