It's a better idea to raise the car up a little bit then to take the fender liner out. You won't believe how much crap will get stuck in your fender/ bumper area. And if yuou are driving in any wet or snow conditions you'll probably end up messing up your corner lights.

It's not a good idea at all.

As well as the front of the door jambs. Sounds like a really dumb idea to me.

haha well looks like im not doing that is there anything else to do besides raise it up cus i cant i only have a shock and spring combo.... no coilovers

on normal wheels it wouldnt rub its just my wheels are a +38 offset so they just stick out a lil too far..... i thought about getting 4-5mm shaved off the hub surface to bring it to a +42-43 but im just too worried about it not being strong enough and breaking the center of the wheel out at auto-x/track days

i tried to contact esses and they wont email me back with any answers as to how much i can take off and still be safe

with sticky buns and a burn out it will send rocks into your fenders and you will get reverse dents ie bumps!

The only thing is small rocks and debris will fly up and ding the inside of your fender,....making it look bad. If you live where there's snow I would leave the liners in.

I've had them off for almost a year now with no problems what so ever. Except I have to clean the filter more often, that is a CAI. I have been thinking about making a separate cover or cutting the original liners to just cover the Air filter.
It is not the best idea but it all depends on how much you drive it.
