Most likely a horrible tank slapper right before/as he came into view. Any idea what race this was from Schu? Isle TT maybe?

 

Yeah, from the Isle of Man TT's, It is the same year that Jeffries pass away... but I don't think it is David Jeffries, bcause the colors are wrong... But you never know, he may have been riding for another team that year.

 

Gawd I hate seeing clips like that. I saw a clip on eBaumsWorld of some guy doin a basejump and his chute hit the side of the damn and he hit the ground and he's moaning in agony. Makes me sick in the stomach.

Looks like a ss600, the TT claims a fair few victims, you cant be sad for them the riders really, really want to race there and know better than anyone the risks and the quality of people it has taken. As they say 'the island doesnt forgive' thats the attraction.

I agree in a sense... Passing away doing something you love and are the best at is really a blessed thing... But I still find the sadness overwhelming at times when I think of people like Ayrton Senna, Joey Dunlop, David Jefries, Gilles Villenuve, Jim Clark, Diajiro Katoh and the list goes on and on!

No, he crashed into he wall and went airborn.

 

Came around the bend with the front tire off the ground to. man it just looks terrible, you can see him trying to get away from the bike...

As soon as he came into view I knew it was a bad video and almost didn't want to see the end result. It's for that reason that I'm a recreational rider and not a racer.

HOLY CRAP!

in slow-mo it almost looks like he threw up his hands and gave up... wow hope he survived that one.

 

I read on another forum that he recovered after months of rehab. Apparently that's a left hander followed by a right and he clipped the wall just before he comes on screen in the vid. (That would explain why he is not holding the bars.)
