Apex n1 vs 5zigen fireball?
I say the Apexi N1 just from what i hear from everyone....everybody loves it.......I reccemond the tanabe super medallion which is awesome...its what I have..awesome sound..good hp gain and totally legal...passed NH inspection
i'll go for the fireball because i have it...i like it more than my friends coupe with the n1.
not really good pictures but there you go anyways.

I heard the 5zigen on several cars. When it was on a civic it didn't really sounded that deep. It sound a little gargly and not smooth, kinda like a N/A VW exhaust (not trying to offend anyone). On a rsx-s that i heard it on it sounded real nice, deep and smooth but not to loud. Kinda like a greddy sp2 or tanabe hyper medallion. I would get the n1 if you plan on not lowering your car too much. It can be a waste of money to have your exhaust come off cause it scrapped so much.
I've had both and I like the N1 a lot more than the 5zigen. The 5zigen sounded raspy and loud as fark. My N1 has a way better tone to it and is a lot deeper, but still loud as fark

my friends have apexi n1s and i like them a lot... a low rpms its just a low rumble.. nice and quiet.. but once u hit like 5000 - 9000 rpms it sounds great... no rattling or anything.. and yea.. becuz of the cocked design u may of ground clearance problems if your car is lowered
Hey, JDM_lover03, I was looking into buying a tanabe srm exhaust and I wanted to know how yours looks coming out of the back. It has a slight angle up, correct? But does it also have a slight angle to the right like the n1 or does it just come straight out? And also, if you don't mind me asking, where did you buy your exhaust from and did you get it for a decent price?
i voted 5zigen aswell i have it on my 94 dx coupe it sounds soo nice real quiet at idle , and really smooth throught the revs and at highway speed it is not too loud in the car at all, also great fit and finish
I strongly do not recomend the cat-back Apex N1 if you like your car really low! The angle of the piping is way too low and the can is hanging really low. I have this on my 96 hatch and its loud as ****! low rpms and high rpms! Scratched up all under the muffler and this is with a 2.00 rear drop. But IT DOES make the most power outta all the other cat-back exhausts. I would go with the 5zigen. its quiet and has plenty of ground clearance.
93egSIboi: I just got a used Tanabe SRM for my Civic EK and it was 240 shipped. I know a new is will run you about $500 or so but I am not sure about used.

N1, just make sure you run no cat but get a good long resonator
brings the noise OUT, otherwise it sounds like fart
