Need a little help on this one, ecu chipping...
Ok, I picked up a po6 the other day to chip for uberdata, I threw it on my car (97 ej6 b18b) unchipped and it ran, but it ran like **** and I took it out like two miles down the road because it was bogging so bad. I figured it was running like **** because it was made for a 1.5 and it was trying to handle a 1.8, so I chipped it and burned a stock ls program to the chip, now here is the best part, it runs worse now than with the unchipped po6, won't rev past like 2500 and I can WOT and it only makes a low rumble and wont move the rpms/tach, and now it is throwing a code. I didn't touch any of the settings or the fuel maps or timing maps. what the hell is the problem. I will update tonight with what code it is I have to go to work now. Stay Tunned!

Mabye it was chipped incoreectly or the stock map you put in was either no good or not a stock map those would be the 3 things that come to mind right away.
I'd refer you to http://www.pgmfi.org or http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata/forum/
Well I got home today and erased the program on there and reburned a stock LS program and it seems to be fine now, don't know wtf happened the first time. Thanks for the links.
What version of Uberdata are you using??
I have had many bad burns with the latest, but the previous version worked fine

Friend of mine chipped a P28 with H22 Base maps and it ran like ****. So we tried 3 different programs and still ran like ****. Then disconnected some wires and tried it again and it was throwin codes. We think the bad maps messed up the ECU. Had to throw it out and count it as a loss.
