I own a 98 integrea ls i was thinking about getting a paint job and keeping it the stock black with a shine and black rooms with black carbon hood...or i was thinking baout doing a pearly white with type r wing and blakc rims with the lack hood?? but i wanna keep it kinda sleepish so idk whihc would be ebtter....

 

black, im am personaly painting my gsr flat black, everything shaved and a carbon hood, lip,and f1 mirrors and i know that it will look insane, white looks good too but im a fan of all black

 

I'd have to go Championship White. The black is going to show any dirt or imperfections in the paint. The pearl white would look good but may get you a little more attention than you want. You could always put a little red or copper pearl in the clearcoat and spray it over the black that could look PIMP. Good Luck with your color selection.

 

a lil bit off topic but i was just wondering can you paint carbon fiber bonets or does no one do it because it ads weight ?. i just dont really like the carbon fiber pattern

 

You can paint over carbon fiber, as long as it has been epoxied and cleared. All you do is scuff it down , you could prime it but you don't have to, and then just sray down your color.

 

id have to say "IMOLA PEARL ORANGE" or championship white.

 

have you seen the Suzuka Blue DC2??? that sh*t is PIMP ...either that or go with the championship white.

I personally dont recomend changing the color of the car unless its done right, and to do it right will cost you well over 10k.

Repaint it black and add whatever ricer additives you like; stock is sexy

 

$10K !!!!!!! What the hell are they doing so special for it to cost 10K? That is alot of money to get a color changed. If it is a street car with full interior there is no way it should cost 10k. I work at a body shop and don't see that as being right.

 

i like black. gives the car a sneaky look and feel to it. my $0.02

 

Black does look really good, but way to hard to keep clean. I am the kind of guy that will wash his car everyday in the summer, but it still got dirty (well I'm picky, but too dirty for my satisfaction). I painted my car a bronze/grey colour now and the dirt doesn't really show

 

this might go a tad off topic but it pertains to this. i searched for half an hour and did not find one single pic of any integra or honda at all with "cayenne red pearl". its also called burning something and if i find the paint code again ill edit and put it in. everyone like orgasms when they talk about it but theres not a single pic of it on here.

 

im thinking ABOUt doing it the championship white with the black carbon hood and the trype r wing....i thinkt hta woudl look nice but idk if it would relaly look sleeperish i know black does but gaian white is really nice...
