Default Keep p/s in the DA9 or not?

To make it simple...Im thinking about taking out the p/s from my car, I just dont know how a 90-93 Integra feels with out p/s. Can anyone with out p/s in their 90-93 Integra tell me how it feels? Is it worth it? I plan on getting the JDM r1 crank pulley for my b16a (i also took out the a/c). Thanks in advance

What cars ahve you driven taht don't have power steering? then I could give you a good comparison. But anyways, I don't find it too bad really. It's only bad when you are not moving right. It's a bit awkward at first. but you get used to it in no time

Also, im interested in a crx shell that an h-t member is selling. I was thinking...if i buy that, and swap my engine into it, i would already have the axles and front suspension for it with my 92 integra. Would i be better off doing that? Not to mention im also a big fan of the crx

Is your car a daily driver?

I removed mine in my '92 when I put in my new motor (looped system, etc.).

I don't mind it at all. Once you are moving past 5mph it's not difficult at all. 3 point turns, parking, etc would be more difficult. I don't daily drive my car so I don't care, but it might get annoying after a while.

I say, keep it if it's a daily driver, ditch it if it's not.

YANK that baby out!. Haha i took mines out and boy that **** was a PAIN the in *** at first. I told and kept telling myself....damn....this is RETARDED!!!.
After a while it doesn't even exist to me. Drive it a lot then you'll be drivining like you always had p/s. . It does take weight off your car a little too

No ps in my DA. Got rid of the pump, fluid, hard lines, reservior, cooler, looped the speed sensor lines, left open the rack (for now, i need to plug it up). Im a whopping 140lbs and can steer the car without hassle even with one hand. Parallel parking isnt any trouble for me either. Trick is to start turning the wheel after you gain momentum.

i've been told that the EF non-p/s rack fits in nicely and has a better steering ratio to compensate for the lack of power-steering. i've driven base civics without powersteering, felt good. a little stiff at slow speeds. but nothing two hands can't take care of.
