Any of you encounter an R/T before?

Have any ITR owners encountered a Neon R/T before and had problems disposing of it? I'm wondering how much of a fight my R/T would pose against an ITR b/c the power to weight ratios on both equal to about the same...

The only Neon R/T I've seen that could "MOVE" was on nitrous. It was running low 13's on slicks I believe. 
I've laid the smackdown on many in my former days of street racing myself. Never seen one at a roadcourse. I've had some *close* battles and even lost some against Neon ACR's at the AutoX though.

I have a 1997 Neon Sport with the 150 HP DOHC engine along with my 2001 ITR. The ITR is much faster. In addition the Neon engine likely would throw off its belts as soon as it got to redline, then proceed to seize the crank bearings 10-15 seconds later, well before it got to the end of the quarter mile.

msot neon that attend the tracks on AZ are tough. 15flat with an intake, and most run mid 14's with basic boltons, they usually dont have a problem picking on typeR's. there is also one here with IHE a chip and some "minor" weight reductions that runs a 13.5 i believe he goes 13.8 on streets. asd far as autoX goes, those tricycles love the twisties.
