why is my car higher?
My car is lowered on tocico blue's shock nd spring. When i put my new 17" gram lights my car highered. The thing is that the 15" stock blades + the tires is the same overall diameter as the new 17's with tires. Please help me figure this out.

LMAO!!! I was going after that one...anyways. Run smaller rims and you won't have to deal with the "lifted" look. Or if you do choose to run a significantly larger than stock rim, get coilovers to compensate for the added height. If the 17's are the same diameter as your 15's, you have to be running some ULTRA low profile tires.

I think he is referring that the rim + tire diameter combination. Usually 17s with low profile tires are even smaller in diameter than smaller rims with fat tires.

Well 205/40-17's are pretty much the common accepted tire size to run on Civics and Integras, and those are indeed pretty much the exact same diameter as stock 195/55-15 tires.
So despite what people may say, 17's w/ 205/40 tires will NOT raise the car compared to stock 15" tires. So the car car either appears higher when it really isn't, or you have a problem with your suspension. Most likely it's an optical illusion, but because the size of the tire sidewall is now alot smaller compared to the amount of fender gap, vs. what you had before. A smaller tire sidewall makes the car look lifted, unless you also reduce the fenderwell gap in a similar amount to the reduction in tire sidewall size.
