Ok, I know I am not the only one to park the R for the winter, this is the chance for my R brothers out there with a winter beater to show what you have, and if it is uglier than mine

What I'm rocking is a 1985 VW Caravelle 1.6 TurboDiesel, with a whopping 72bhp

Here it is, in all it's three tone glory :



And I have been struggling with an oil leak, as can be seen by the clean rear end , found the problem today so will wash it tomorrow.



To keep it ITR related, gere I am working on my car, engine is out and unbolted the front suspension today, will press out the bushes later this week, Mugen and Prothane will replace the tired OEM bushings.

 

Vanagan's are tight. you should get pimp my ride to paint that sh*t though

Fill me in please, I have not seen the movie so have no idea what you are talking about, but car is getting some paint sooner or later so any suggestions on a paint scheme is appreciated.

1987 Opel Ascona 1.6 S (320.000km and still going....) Topspeed at 80mph.. lol
It loves our salty roads in Norway too... I'm glad it does, so i dont harm my Civic...
As long as the heater works im happy with it...

First off, what is an Asshat? Secondly, I have to agree.

A little closer to the topic at hand, that is a nice MR engine bay shot... got any pics of the whole car? MR is probably my favorite color... too bad it wasnt available in the US. Good luck with the DART block.
