So how much of a pain in the *** is it to keep a black bike looking good?

I loved having black other than when it sits in the sun for a few hours and you hop on it burns your *** and your crotch, no matter what your wearing, the gas tank gets brutal hot.......which kinda sucks but i loved the black i would do it again , just gotta try park in the shade.

bad quality picture but heres mine:

edit: i washed mine twice a week, once on weds, and once on saturday (or friday night if i was going out), as for waxing it i did that about every 6-8 weeks....but man they look good in the sun once their freshly waxed

edit edit: also a something i noticed with a black bike was that once youve filled it with gas you must leave more room in the tank for expansion that on a red bike, as my tank would leak a fair bit after filling, can't really fill it right up.

IMO, you can't see the sexy *** lines on a black bike. When I see a black bike go by, I can't what it is unless I recognize it by its exhaust or headlight. I think its cool but I like being able to see the lines of my ride and my cars.

black bikes also "blend in" very well. for example a cop would not be able to tell one black bike from another....

I'd rather have colors/graphics to exenuate the lines.

dn side to having a black bike is everything gets hot in the sun....real hot, like cook a hot dog on the gas tank hot. But as far as seeing body lines, i can tell what make a bike is as long as its daylight. when darkness falls it gets a little hard to tell but the headlight is always a dead give away. i still prefer a black bike to any other color.

I voted yes on black bikes, but I would like to be seen so my bike is staying red.

i hate mirrors. i look in them and see my arms; most useless design ever. plus its distracting from looking ahead. my possibly useless 2 cents though. signals? i wish cagers would see the whole bike let alone a tiny signal.
