ok, its not a honda but i figured someone might know, my girlfriends car is an 01 ford focus zx3 i installed a CAI and ever since she is only get 170 miles per tank!! the only mod is the CAI could the bad gas mileage be cause by to much air or what??

 

I got crap *** gas mileage on my civic after the CAI installation. After I added my aftermarket exhaust, it seemed to be back to normal again.

 

is that her in your avatar? if so ,good job on that. my civic dropped some milage after my cold air, dont know why.really just wanted to know if that was her licking that shift ****!

 

The bad gas mileage isnt coming from the intake itself, its coming fromt he extra throttle that is being applied so u can hear that cool intake sound. Try driving it very easy and i gaurantee you'll get your mileage back.
