downshifting for tourqe ?
if you have a GSR or ITR then you have a VTEC engine. Im sure everyone knows vtec kicks in at the higher revs, basically letting more air and fuel into the engine and giving the car more power. How many of you actually shift down gears to get good acceleration if your racing or just trying to overtake or sumfin ?

I think downshifting to get more tourque is natural for people who know how to drive stick. When driving an automatic car, it will automatically downshift once you step on the pedal...so I guess the same concept should be true for you manual cars.
