I was just wondering what kind of car alarms you guys have. My friend is hooking me up with one and he can either get me the Clifford Matrix 3 or the Avital 3300. Does anyone know which of the 2 is better?

 

i say get something better like clifford concept or solaris...i got the concept 400 and am really happy with it

 

i gotta black widow and i am much satisfied with it.....but if someone really wants your car they can get around the alarm....to me an alarm just makes you feel secure....

 

I have the Crimestopper super page II..whats special about it is that its lets me know on my key chain if anyone sets it off....Has very good range on it...when i am in a movie theatre..i can still control my car and also it can still alert me. Personally i would go for the compustar alarm however. But like what (SO[vtec]HC) if they really want your car..they can get it...however i also believe with the ability for your car to page you, like if you were in your house sleeping at night or when you are say in a store, definitely gives you more securtiy and car protection then it just going off. C'mon when was the last time that you actually looked to see where a car alarm was going off in a parking lot...you can't always count on the public to help you. Oh yeah..and there is a lot of generic pager alarms...and one of my friends has one..its sucks bad...the alarm is not even sensitive...people have kicked his car and left a dent..and his alarm donesnt' even go off...i dont' know what brand though..lol...but a sure thing is the compustar and the crimestopper...So dont' go for another brand unless you know for sure how good it is or have people who have it and say it is good. Well..thats my two cents...good luck man..there are a lot of scandalous people out there.......be careful...keep it garaged most of the time...
