Converting a LS into an ITR?

Whats diff from Type RRRRR than ls?
I kno the motor any some other stuff. but what exaclty would I need to buy to convert a usdm ls into a j- spec type r
Ill start and see if im missing anything
motor
entire front end conversion
5 lug with rims
gauge clusterr
the sexy recaros
door panels
rear seats
floormats
climate control
amber clock
i kno there is more but i cant think of them
help please

You forgot all of the carbon fiber ish, strut bar, exterior (body work), wing, badges, brake booster(to finish off the 5 lug conversion) and PAINT. I think that's everything other than the weight diff.

ok....try the frame is reinforced 30% more then any other integra! Dood...for the $$$ you 'd spend converting you had mise well jsut buy yourself and R ...

... especially a JDM ITR. You need a RHD conversion. Holy crap, that's not worth it. Plus remove the sunroof. 
Either buy an R (cheaper than swapping everything unless you can find a wrecked ITR). Better yet, just get the motor/5-lug and brakes, and upgrade the suspension, and ignore the chassis stiffening and lightening.

I'm talking some 'good' research. I'm talking about, going to the mechanics that are going to be potentially involved in this and asking them the time and money it's going to cost. I'm talking about going down and talking to the mechanics and the fabricators who are going to do the work. The costs involved to attain this completely illogical goal is going to cost you three times as much to make it a reality as it would cost to just buy the damn J-Spec car at an auction and ship it over to the States.
What benifit could you derive from telling your friends you have an J-Spec Type R. It's going to take one guy who knows his **** better than you to start noticing all the things on the car that don't seem right. ****, talk about getting laughed at. There are so many things that are not on that list you wrote up that you would have to do to make it a 'Type-R'. What are you going to do about all the paper work. It's still going to say LS.

Do a search in google and you'll find plenty of links for Japanese auctions. You can get a RHD Type-R to a US port for 6-9K respectively. After that, you have to play the customs game, but **** the time it takes to do that, it would be far less time than having your LS converted into a RHD.
I'm telling you now, your setting yourself up for a **** load of headache, with your insurance people, cops and thieves.

I didnt mean to offend and of you, I know theres no competition, and I wouldnt go around telling my friends its a j- spec type r, I just wanted to know the difference as far as looks... and theres no way in hell i would ever convert a car to rhd... only get oone imported from japan...so it would stay lhd. Again I just wanted to see the differences, than you to those who help.... the other dumbass comments that some of you made will be ignored....i know an ls cant exaclty become a type r..nothing can...whatvere the car was built as will stay as,,,its just a project that Im going to do

You can't really "convert" it to an itr with all the minor stiffening done to the frame.
Why would you want to when you could eaily spend the same money to outhandle and stock R.
I'm really getting sick of all the R owners who put their ITR's in this high and mighty league...
Yes it does sound like he just wants his car to have the R badging on the side, and tell hs friends that he really owns a jdm itr....big deal.

The rest can be accomplished by changing the engine, suspension, interior,....but why spending the $$ to get rid of your sun roof??? i dunno....IT will NEVER be an itr unless you change the VIN#'s somehow...

Still no matter what you do it will never be a type-R. You can make one hell of a nice car that performs very well. Better than any type-r even if you put in the work, but it still won't be one.
