Extended Warranty?? Would you buy it?
I have a '98 GSR with 20500 miles and I have until the 21st to buy the extended warranty. For $870 I can get the factory Acura warrany that will give me another 3 years and more miles than I will ever drive this car. My question is "Should I buy it?".
Do you guys have BIG problems with your cars under 50k miles. The car is well maintained and I use Mobil 1 every 2500. So what is the cost if I say spin a rod bearing or break a timing belt?
Thanks!

As somebody who is suffering from a non specific problem at 53K miles in a 98 GSR I'd say yes. I am covered on my warranty till 80K and I'm starting to think it was a hell of a deal.
I bought my extended warranty(900 bucks for another 3 years) when My factory one was over, few months later my ABS ecu was messed up. It costed around 1600 to get another ECU from acura, but my warranty covered it, labor was included too. last year I had a oil leak, Acura replaced oil pan and gasket, it was covered. I think it's worth it, save you alot of headaches and money.
