Well about a week ago I was at work, I came out to go to lunch and I noticed my car looked different. That it did, a truck backed into it right up over the hood. So I had to get a new hood (VIS OEM C/F), re-painting the front bumper and adding on the Type-R front lip, sides and rear valences. Just think twice when you try to park away from people that your not totally safe. My car was on camera though but a roof overhang blocked anything that would have come near my car.


Luckilly the headlights were fine, and so were my new VisionX 6000k HIDs

i got hit and run on christmas while at a friends house also. luckily my deductible was only $200 for the $1200 damage bill.

 

yeah my insurance company said a 20% increase if i make a claim, so i was like id rather pay cash. over $1,000 in parts most optional, only needed a hood. then i gota pay for labor and paint.

 

I just got in an accident tonight, f-ed up my front end. It wasn't my fault but since I was the one who did the rear ending of course it will come out that way and insurance will dick me over probably. They better not try to jack my insurance up 20% because I will need to file a claim to repair it.

 

Probably, but since I wasn't in my car at the time and couldn't prove who did it they said that the claim would have to increase my insurance. If I found out who had done it and had them they to file a report I would have claimed it and the owner of the car that hit me would have been responsible. It still sucks though waiting for parts to come in and seeing my car in the condition it is in right now day after day

 

I hate irresponsible people like that,would've be nice if the ********** took the courtesy to leave you a ******* note. to jack *** people holding little regard for others possessions.

 

Well I just took her out of the garage to go out for a little while and saw alot of condensation in the passenger headlight high beam and low beam. Never there until I got hit, now I'm worried the moisture is gona blow my HIDs, here's to more money for someone who was irresponsible and un caring for other peoples pride and joys.

gives me an excuse to pick up a carbon fiber hatch and do the rest of the body work that needs to be done and get a new paint job

 

The ONLY day I stayed late to help some people at school and I come out to my drivers side fender screwed up. Someone had try to park backwards like I did in a spot with a trcuk and hit me. No note no nothing. I got campus police to come out and low and behold, the officer of all things knows me from back in the days of Drag Net. I'm like "great.. here we go again". I got the police report and called insurence. Looks like there was $800 in damage (fender, inner bracket, repaint all including bumper) Pissed me off but now I have to get it repaired myself since my deductable is $1000.

 

Yeah same here, gave me an excuse to get a carbon fiber hood and a type-r lip kit. No sense of putting my car in the body shop twice or matching black paint twice. I don't care that it happened so much anymore mostly because I am getting what I want out of it...I would just like to know who did it, that's all.

 

Always nice when you can upgrade after an accident.

 

Yeah it is nice to upgrade after something or this sort, but the worst part is having your car in the condition after it gets hit until it gets fixed and looking at it all the time and if able to drive it like in my case having people ask you about it

 

yea, no kidding... the worst part is looking at it everytime you go to get in the car. I wouldnt be as mad if it was only my hatch that was messed up but that wasnt the case, they got the piece just below the hatch as well. So who knows, i guess function before fasion... thats what i keep telling myself anyways

 

Yeah exactly, I am suprised my hood still closes and locks. I hope the new one is here tomorrow like it is supposed to be then I should have everything else by Thursday and I won't have to look at this nightmare any longer but then I cna look at a thing of beauty when it comes back

that definitely blows IMO, and least he could've wrote a note an admit he's sorry.

werd, i got hit and run at by some black car.. took out some of my paint and left their black mark.. what a focker..

Maybe its too late for you to call police & get a report? Otherwise, FYI for anyone else to remember...

 

that sh*t happened to me once (not as bad though)

I parked behind a pickup (only spot available/late 4 work)

walked in and told the ******* "do not reverse when u leave, my car is right behind you"

later that day (after work) I noticed the a$$hoe had backed into my car

luckily it wasn't that bad (few scratches)

but it goes to tell you a dumbass is dumbass anyways

 

Well I got the hood today and the car is going in Wed. to get the front resprayed and the Type R lip put on. My other parts aren't here yet, sides and rear ends caps, so he is going to make extra paint for them now and do them when he has more time. I've got pics of the crashed hood and maybe some of the C/F tonight or tomorrow.
