wierd problem with hornet alarm and remote start

wierd problem with hornet alarm and remote start

ok this just happend today i go home from work get out push the button and nothing i keep pushing and then i put it up to the sensor on the wind shield and it works so i change the batt and still the same thing so i leave to a freinds house to show him and it works fine so i go home and it dont work again so im like WTF!! i take the car out my drive way and down the street and it works i put back in my drive way and it dont work unless i put it up to the sensor has this ever happend to anyone?
