Default "Angel eye" Headlights on ebay & 98+ conversion questions

Just wondering if anybody is running the "angel eye" headlights that are all over ebay ??

Hows the quality ?

I read once they are sealed and you can't change the bulbs, true?

Also I am considering these as I am updating the wrecked front end of a '95 LS to the 98+ bumper and lights....and these sell new on ebay for not much more than people want for their used stockers ...

Is the light all you need when converting from 94-97 lights to 98+ ?? Or do you need a 98+ cradle also ?

Still provide good visibility ? Thanks

I saw them on a white 98 teg in my area, and had to go out and buy a set myself. I don't like the angel eyes so much, but i dig the black housings.

They lok really nice, but they suck; very poor quality and you can't replace the halo once it blows; and they blow in no time falt ( my buddy had some on his crsx and the halos went within months).......if the black housing is all your interested in, there are instructions on here to take apart the OEM headlights and paint the housings black

you CAN replace the halo ( the led ) its not hard you just have to heat up the seal and open them up . . . they dont go out fast atleast in my car , i havent had to replace them but if i did it isnt that hard . . ive had them fro about a year or more . . .

i think angel eyes are hot, but if you had to give up the quality of the lights for cheap ebay lights, it's not worth it.. also imo i think the 94-97 front looks better than the 98+, but the rear 98+ is better lookin than the 94-97
