What all componets would i need to convert my LS suspension into a full blown itr turn eater suspension? or is it even possible? what would it take? does this give me the 5 bolt pattern for the itr wheels? im trying to replicate my ls into a type-r.. doing itr suspension, interior, c5 swap, and itr lip kit.
let me know guys. very interested in the itr suspension

u're better off saving up for a R instead, i have a 94 rs with shaved moldings, champ white, itr wing, lip, and recently bought ITR shocks and lca, and its just not the same. o ya and my car has a b18c jdm 98 ITR swap. A Real R is on a league of its own. Just go for the looks, and never put on Type R stickers.

psh man u have no idea of how bad i want an itr....im 17 fixing to turn 18 in a couple of months, but insurance is such a douche to me. theres not a snow cones chance in hell that i could afford insurance on an itr. i don't plan on putting the itr stickers or badges on it...
any suggestions to the suspension deal. oh yeah where can i find a real true oem itr lip? also is there any difference in the headlights? i don't want the jdm itr headlights i like the usdm's

dude i'm 19 and i just want an itr as badly as u do, but i'm happy with what i have, and my car looks good even though its not 100% Type R, but its about 90%. here are some pics of what my car looks like.
once spring hits, i'll get some nice rims, and switch to black interior than my car is set.
OEM lip is expensive, the acura dealership wanted $610 cdn for a cw 97 lip.
and the spoiler they wanted $910 cdn.
i would suggest aftermarket ureathan lip, and any aftermarket spoiler would do the job.
Engine wise i would go with JDM b18c over a c5, since the jdm type R has 4-1 header, 4.7 final drive.
Upgrading to Type R suspension is pretty cheap, i picked up a set of used JDM Type R suspensions for $500 cdn

Sideskirts are the same as yours only painted to match the rest of the car
shaved side moldings
Headlights/taillights are the same as all other models
front bumper is the same as all other models only with a type r lip added
rear bumper is the same as all other models
front and back seats, door panels, carpet, arm rest are all black with red stitching
Type r guages of course are diff also they light up amber
Type r climate control also lights up amber
5 lug instead of 4 lug
type r shocks, springs, contol arms etc are all diff than other models
type r front strut bar is diff than that off a gsr
than of course the engine, tranny, radiator etc is all diff
dont convert everything to type r in my opinion ... maybe just seats, wing, front lip etc ... as far as suspension goes .... make it your own. Theres many set ups avaliable out there that out perform the stock itr suspension(which is why ppl with type r's still modify there cars)
It will never be a true type R .. dont waste all your money trying to imatate it ... make it your own

spoon much appreciated. what would be an excellent suspension set up? another thing im wanting to know is..the itr comes naturally cambered so could i get the plates off a wrecked one or what? or would it just be better to buy a camber kit?
mang, it is going to cost a lot, not to mention the time and patience you will have to have. Only pro is that you will probably have cheaper ins. and less likely to get it stolen. just think of all the issues involved and good luck in whatever you decide to do. Personaly I am saving to purchase an R.
"or would it just be better to buy a camber kit?"
exactley ... you dont need to get type r parts like this .... omni, skunk 2 they all make camber kits
"whats an excellent suspension set up"
1. I hate to say it but SEARCH
2. Tein and Omni sports/streets are both reliable and widely used across this board

spoon gave off parts off of a usdm itr. now for JDM hotness... your gonna need to change up a few things:
JDM wheels are different than USDM wheels, as everyone knows
Red suede Recaros
Red stitch boot and JDM **** w/ reverse thread bolt.
Arm rest eliminator
JDM steering wheel
JDM cluster (diff is that it's in KM, yellow needles, and diff brake light icon.
gathers if you really want to, and the RH drive conversion.

forgot we were discussing jdmITR ... was thinking USDM ... anyways yes ernald is right ... change up some of the parts for JDM spec and theres always that RHD conversion .. seems pointless to me
The ITR suspension is nice but there's not much point in spending money converting an LS to it. You can buy all bolt on LS suspension parts to turn your LS into a much better handling car than a stock ITR.
