my steering wheel has turretts???
ok after braking my steering wheel starts twitching really badly, does anyone have a clue whats wrong with it? i was thnking myabe something with the power steering pump or somehting because the wheel jerks to the left very abruptly, i think i need an alignment but i dont think that is the cause of this problem because it started doing it all of the sudden tonight, anyone have any clues? thanks
no no, i dont have 18's on my R that would be sinful, i am just selling some 18's, the problem seems to only happen at 3k rpm or below and the steering wheel jerks all of the sudden and its not during braking, just out of nowhere i guess myabe its warped rotors i guess i'll check it out in the morning
What kind of tires do you have? Sometimes uni-directional tires "pull or track" on grooves in the road. Does it feel like the road pulls your steering one way or another like when you pull up to a stoplight?

My stock tires tend to do that now. I guess beacuse they're wearing out so bad. I remember not to have that little problem when they were new. Yes, mostly when you get to a stop light or while going on lines on pavement.
my car used to do the same kind of thing. after i had about 12,000 on my stock potenzas they started to pull to the left pretty severely under hard braking. it was almost bad enough to pull the wheel out of my hands if i wasn't holding on tight. the problem stayed until i got new tires. when i got rid of the worn potenzas, the problem went with them. how many miles do you have on your current set of tires?
