Alarm Valet Switch mode in Honda Civic
Hello,
I just picked up my car from the Honda service center and noticed that when I press Lock on the alarm remote control, the car locks itself, but it has no chirping sound it usually gives off. I did some research online to what could be the cause and figured that the service center people activated the valet mode and the alarm light stays on and doesn't blink as before.
The main honda manual doesn't have anything related to valet mode deactivation and the service center is already closed. I checked my 2 page instructions on the alarm manual and it mentions VALET SWITCH push button. Unfortunately, there are no pictures or suggestions where the VALET SWITCH push button could be located. Anyone knows where it's located? I have Checkmate alarm.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated, thank you in advance.
