Default skunk2stage1 vs. skunk2stage2

im thinking of buying some cams for my gsr...but i cant really decide between skunk2 stage1 and the stage2 cams...can anyone give me some advice...i have only a i/h/e setup right now and i want my car to be a daily driver...i would upgrade to a better valvetrain if i get the stage 2's...my major concerns are idling...so what im asking is if anyone can let me know how they feel about their daily drivers with stage 1 or stage 2 cam...ive searched alot about the stage2 cams but i wanna see if anyone else can add...thanks

Your idle would be fine, but you're going to need engine management and a good dyno tune as well as an intake manifold and a slight bump in compression in order to get the full potential out of the Stage 2's.

With that being said, I have a set of Stage 1's for sale

you will need a bump in compression. If u dont want to upgrade your pistons then go with the stage 1s

are the buddy club cams similar to the skunk stage 2 cams?...im assuming the valve train needs to be upgraded as well as needing higher compression?

Buddyclub Spec III+ are similar to the stage 2's...the regular Spec III's are similar to skunk stage 1's

I have stage 1's in my car. love them.

The key to anything is to not lego build. I took a lot of time to figure out the path I wanted to take with my car. Lots of research and patience, to see what works well with each other and what dosent.

I did 194.6 whp with Stage 1's on my old GSR...I vouch for them any day. Stock bottom end, VAFC tuning.
