I have an EP3 with the ever popular k20a3 engine also. I am sure there is technically a crossover point, but not so you would know it like my old b16. The build up is pretty much like any other car being wound out where the max power is at the higher end of the rev band.

the base rsx like the EP3 civic si has VTEC-E system. there is no cam crossover. the only thing that VTEC does is open the second set of intake valves completely.
