Default 1991 Honda Accord 4d SE Help?

i just got another se and i was wondering should i put on some headers? the car comes with a 140 horse power since its an se but how much will the headers give me in horse power? will this kill my lifes engine if i an one ? if not witch name brand should i get? the car is completely stock. help please

Well its not a V-6, or V-8 or even a V anything, so you wont need more then one header. I would say stay simply and go DC Sports Ceramic Coated. No harm to the engine at all. You are going to want to mate it with an aftermarket exhaust of some sort other wise it isnt going to do anything for you though.

lol on the headers part... so i would need to get a loud *** muffler for the header? and can't use the stock one ?

Well no nessasarily a loud *** muffler but picture this. If air is flowing in a typical manner through the stock header and out the stock exhaust, then you open up the space and allow air to flow in a different manner but then it runs into a wall that is the stock exhaust you dont really accomplish anything. Make sense?

yea your right . i just don't like loud mufflers cause they call the cops to be on my ***. in cost wise it should come out to like $ 400 - 600 for eveything or more

ish. yeah thats a good estimate. The header will run you $300 new and the exhaust you could probably manage for 300-400.
