Default 5 lug conversion trouble

today i wanted to put my 5 lug conversion on my ep. i planned on using the whole Type s brake conversion on the front and just the hub and rotors on the rear... the back hub and rotor bolted up just fine, then we figured we should try one of the fronts so we take all the stock brakes off, then try to bolt up the 5 lug so we put the ball joint in then the axel...but the 2 bolts that hold the knuckle and shock together will not go back into place (we cant get them to reach) so now we have tried almost everything so we tried to put the stock back on but now it will not go either...!!!!!??? whats going on???? help!!!

thanks

I think i know what might be wrong but not quite sure. I think that the spring is not fully compressed. you might want to put somethin under the ball joint and let the car come down on it so that the spring will compress or you cold put a jack under it and jack it up till it fits. Hope that works or hope you can find a way to solve your delima..

your cv joint probably fell apart. pull the rubber boot around the joint towards you and you'll see your problem. lots of grease in there. align the 3 bearings to wear there're 'sposed to go. then you'll be able to push the rotar back up.
