Default Found a 1997 *Bare* b18c5 head

Hey what's up board?! I found a bare 97 type r head(no internals at all) for a $100. Is it worth buying since i have to put all the internals in? B/c i was thinking of buying and porting and polishing it, jun II cams, performance valvetrain. what do u guys think? I got a quote on inlinefour.com on some internal stuff skunk2 valves, jun springs and retainers, bronze valve guides for 875.00. Do you still think it's worth it?

Bare Casting is the same as a PR3 B16a Casting.

You'd be better off finding an old JDM B16a First Gen Casting with the Cam Caps and **** there.
