Default Guys its been a pleasure but I'm no longer an ITR owner.

Hey folks ..... I'm an old timer and have been a member here since March 2nd of 2000. Although I don't post much, I used to read these posts on a daily basis.

Jeese ...I've been around since Temple of Vtec was the only forum ... god I'm old.
I even remember when Endyne made their first announcement of releasing their hydro-turbo, which would be released in just a few months ....HAHA good thing I didn't hold my breath!!

Anyway ....just wanted to say that I finally sold my "old" pride and joy (tonight) to a really cool dude who totally appreciates an R, Chris (121cRRRd). Since he is a new member, I hope you guys will be patient with him when he asks his noob questions.

#248 in in the hands of owner #2. I bought her backin April of 98 ..... fawk! Almost 7 years ago. Anyway ....just wanted to say thanks to this community for providing copious information and I wish you guys all the best.

Will I be dropping out of the whole car scene??? Absolutely not!! In fact I'm moving onto bigger and better things (well maybe not better but more $$) I'm going to try my luck on late 80's early 90's Porsche 911's. WTF? Why not?

I'll be checking out now .........Later to all who remember me.

it was a pleasure .....

Nick D

David - Oh lord .....yes I do remember Limerock, Chasing you down in your GSR!!! It was a great time and yes I believe that was 1998.
Now look at us ...... you are a professional race car driver and I'm a professional father of two!!

As much as I loved the R, I could never get back into the spirit of driving the car the way I used to (or the way it should). I'm glad the car is in the hands of a spirited person who will enjoy the car more than I would.

Chris - get together with the R speed guys. You'll learn alot from them. Start by picking David's brain. The man knows how to drive!!

If I get the time, I'll post some of my favorite memory shots ....and rest assured, I will be letting you folks in on my new upcoming projects soon.

If anyone wants to go to check out the Porsche's... I am going there this Saturday (1/29/05) to get my car corner weighted. I was going to go today, but the snow caused a change in plans.

Best of luck to both, like they said don't let these scum baggs get a hold of that R. Having lived in Dirt Jerz and had my GSR stolen twice. Never ever leave it at the mall, movies, or anywhere. Not trying to scare you, just hate thieves and love R's. Keep it on the low, get a beater, and enjoy.
