Default Oddometer and trip are off

i had a lot of errons tro run today. when i gassed up my car, the oddometer read 120850. i also rest my trip at this time. when i was done the odometer said 120897 and the trip said 36.3. this is 11 miles diffrence. why are they diffrent? is the mecanical link bad or slipping? which one is corect? BTW it's a stock cluster 91 w/ tach and cable drivin speedo.

some times my spedo cable would randomly pull its self out just enough to not give accurate readings,my mph would jump like a mother ****** but the travel disatance and all that wouldnt even budge.if it did it was only for a couple of miles if that.check to see if the cable is in both spot's pushed in directly.in the tranny and behind the cluster.it is mostlikely just slightly comin out like my problem was.

bump i thought some on here would know.

EDIT: the cable is fine; the MPH is fine and isint jittering or bouncing it's just the trip / odometer. i just do want to appear to have odometer fraud when i infact dont.

Man you are worried over a spedo cable? i doubt a cop will actually ask you to pop your hood to check your SPEDO CABLE, "is that a fake spedo Cable there son??" hahaha. relax man. maybe you just need a new one. i got an extra one if you need. quickrexsi21@aol.com......remember cops wont be actually looking at your spedo or odometer.
