Default CRX Springs on a Del Sol?

i know that teh Del Sol is technically the 3rd gen CRX but will the srpings from a 89-91 CRX fit on a delsol??? my friend has a chance to get some nearly brand new Eibach Pro's for like 80 bucks and we are trying to see if its going to work or not...

i'm pretty sure that the only way it will work is if the springs are for a crx si. there might be a difference with the chasis designs since the crx is an ef chasis design and the del sol is a eg. i think that the dx crx has sort of a like radius arm design where as a del sol doesn't. i've never worked on a crx si, but i know the suspension's different from the dx model.

It will fit but your spring rate will be different.
