The turn signal lights and the dash lights don't work at all. It's a 00 Accord, bone stk. It's my mom's car. I checked all the fuses inside and under the hood. Everything looks good. The headlights come on when they should, brake lights work, and the hazards work aswell. It does shift out of park and drives fine. This just happend tonight, so it's a new problem and i'm stumped.

Any ideas??

 

Are the running or parking lights working? If not it could be the dimmer switch or the headlight combination switch. Or could be faulty wiring with an aftermarket alarm, if you have one. Did you check the passenger side fuse panel? Its most likely not the dimmer switch, considering you dont have blinkers, so check your combi switch. This should at least get you pointed in the right direction.

 

My guess would be ignition cylinder (where you put your key in)...these are known to go bad. But I would run the simple electrical solutions first (alternator, battery etc).

 

The parking lights do work. Here's a twister to this. The turn signals do work when the headlights and parking lights aren't on. So I'm starting to lean towards it being the main turnsignal headlamp switch. I'll test it today and let you guy's know.

Found the problem. It wasn't the trun signal headlamp switch, it was the flasher. Replaced and it, and it all woks fine.
