Default *HELP* Integra Suspension Problem

I installed skunk 2 coilovers with Brand X lower control arms on my integra today. When the car gets over 60 it gets realy twitchy. I can bearly move the stearing wheel and the car jumps over a lane. I was told because the lower arms are 1 1/2 inches short that it may be throughing off the geometics of the rear. Let me know if anyone knows how to fix this. Will a rear camber kit fix this problem??? Thanks for the help yall.

Check your alignment, specifically check the front and rear toe settings as this will always change to some degree on a Honda when you change the ride height. Consider it mandatory. It did change on other cars you have done, you just may not have noticed the effect as much as this time.

get the rear alignment settings checked out. It`s your LCA's that are the problem.

*If you have the lca that is a inch or so shorter than that part must be used with the upper arm that is a inch or so shorter as well.

The idea of aftermarket LCAs being shorter than stock has ALWAYS botherd me. Yeah it MAY help with a slight camber issue, but added negative camber isn't a bad thing (unless it's a drag car). Also, I'm sure this will negativly effect bump steer (which sounds like what your experiencing).

Yeah they may weigh less, but the bushing quality is always lacking, and only half of the wieght your droping is "unsprung" (because half the LCA is connected to the chassis).

Ditch those Brand X LCAs & swap in some used GSRs (or civics if its an EK).
