What motor came in a 97 Civic DX?

Hey:

Going to look at one of these tomorrow. Anybody know what they came with stock? VTEC?

I just searched the net and found that the Dx is the non-vtec 1.6.

yeap,dx's came w/he d16y7 non-vtec.not sure on hp readings.

Whoops my fault I didnt see the 97 haha yeah a 1.6 non vtec.
