WTF are you talking about. S2K=HID projectors made by Stanley/Kioto

Maybe this will help you understand...

These projectors came from a 2001 S2K. They were retroed in my teg before I sold my teg. So now they will go in my SRT-4.

Hes right, but I dont see the diff with the color. I guess you need to see it in person.

Are you guys looking at the pics lol. The first few pics of the cut-off is the stock shield. The pics after that (the ones with TONS of blue/purple in the cut-off) is the modded shield.

for me i plan on doing so. I'm going to have the 04 headlights which are not yet on my car, cleared, and while i'm doing that, i might as well do this simple mod. The color change is noticeable, but more importantly gives you more vision.

There is enough room on the rear of the housing that this mod can be done w/o taking your headlight apart. It would take more time but it can easily be done with patience.

The only stupid looking thing here is you.

Why does everyone have to open their mouth with a stupid comment. Hacknslash took his time to take pix, host the pix, do a write-up, and show us a simple mod that would brighten our headlights for more road vision.

for you glagola1 for having nothing to contribute but stupid comments.

I'm confused, whats the difference between projectors and HID's?? I thought S2K's have HID, but than again I'm no automobile lighting expert.

Projectors are what hold and project the high intensity discharged light. Vehicles either have reflectors or projectors, and we have projectors.

hid's are the bulbs and the ballasts. you need both of them to work, hid bulbs won't work without hid ballasts, likewise, hid ballasts will not work without hid bulbs.

That is the projector on in our lights. The bulb sits behind it. It helps give the color changing effect when the car moves up and down.
