best tire for 15" wheel

best tire for 15" wheel

Searched for this, found nothing.

Whats the best size for street/performance tires going on a 15" rim?
I had seen alot of 205/50/15 and 215/45/15 Whats the best?

Depends on the width of the wheel as well. For a 7" wide wheel, I'd reccomend 205/50/15, for 6 and 6.5" 195/55/15 is pretty common.

I have 205/50 on a 6.5" wheel and it fits fine. I don't see any benefit to going to 195 for a 6.5" wheel.

True, true. I didn't think about that. I guess technically they are lighter too.
