I've only heard good things about the Comptech race header.

looks like you need some schooling in the search feature. I pulled up over 60 threads between ITR, AM, and Drag forums in less than 1 minute. with just the keyword HEADER.

Define what You mean by "Road Race" in the title.

SMSP will provide good custom stuff for your NA applications. Specific series rules will limit what you may and or may not run so it's a good idea to mention which club/series you intend to run in.

You must have not heard about the shitty ground clearance... but I guess that wouldn't matter too much for a track ITR.

Soooo Purrrrdy!!

I'm getting rid of my Type One header for a DTR fab soon. Can't beat custom headers.

Beautiful craftsmanship. So there is no cat or testpipe with that header?

You will have to put it further back.

I vote for full SMSP header and exhaust... but Hytech is also good.

SMSP or Hytech will insure that you can't go wrong.

thanks guys for all the advice. Ground clearance is an issue but now I have a decent steel skid plate that has already saved my Mugen header.

If this is for a true road race car then just go with a 4-1 header and open pipe.

I have an smsp custom exhaust, and it sounds nice, and it delivers great flow and power. I need to trash the jdm 4-1 and look into a smsp header to meet up with the exhaust. I can only imagine the power gains with a smsp header fully tuned.

Nice pics man. I reallllly wish I had the money to buy a smsp header right now before I get ready to tune. I can't imagine the power I would be putting down.
