Default ITR vs GSR radiator

while changing out the endcap and o-ring on the distributor to stop my oil leak, i noticed that my fan blade had completely disconnected itself from the fan hub. it appears that it was loose for a while, and cut a huge circular groove in my radiator, which has resulted in a very slow water leak.

so if i have to get a new radiator, and if i can upgrade for little or no more money, then i figure why the hell not. question is, will an ITR radiator drop into a GSR bracketry with no modifications? and if so, who wants to sell me one?

IM rodney, he will know for certain since at one time he had pointed out all the differences between the two to me. I believe the R fan has an extra blade for better cooling and a few other choice upgrades but it was a few years ago and I've forgotten all the specifics.

Yes, that is correct. Honda engineers spent money and time adding a different radiator to the ITR because it makes no difference whatsoever...

So why is one car highly coveted while the other model is driven by teenie bopping high school girls?

If you get the ITR radiator, you will have to get the radiator fan that goes with it because the mounting points are completely different. The A/C fan fits fine. The nipples on the bottom of the radiator that fit into the little rubber grommets are the same. The mounting points on the radiator support are the same.

Brandon
