Default Tooo Freaking tall for my 01 coupe ex. Please help

I have read lots of posts about swapping seats and getting dope aftermarkets but I just need to lower the driver seat a few inches. I have a screwed up back and a long commute and need to sit " with propoer posture " which if I do so now my 6.3" head is out the sun roof. I am taking the seat out but have no idea what I will do when it's out........

Please Help,
Thanks,
CC

I believe del sol seats sit lower than normal civic seats.. also if you can put prelude seats in there they will sit lower(that requires custom fabrication though). Stay away from Integra seats, they actually sit a little higher i think.. That goes for ITR seats as well..

One thing you might want to try is taking off the rails of the seat and securing it that way.. it will sit a lot lower that way.

you can got to a shop that does custom seat installs and have them modify your stock seat brackets to make the seat sit lower

Swap to Del Sol seats. You can retain your stock rails and bolt them to the Del Sol seats. They're designed much better, and sit about 3 inches lower. I wouldn't trade mine for anythign and I've owned other "racing" seats before.

quit complaining i'm 6'6".

i've driven civics, integras, rsxs, crxs, never complained.

i've owned a 90gs, a 91gs, a 95ls, and a 92cx, i fit fine in all of them

all 3 integras had sunroofs so the roof actually sits lower than the non-sunroof ones

pay attention to what the guy said he has to sit up straight, you guys are probably gangsta leanin

If the sol seats sit that much lower u should go with those, only sat on one in a del sol but comfy as hell

yeah , i say go with the sol seats, they sit way lower, but the teg seats sit a little bit lower and have better, lumbar then the new civic seats, IMO, try and find somoene with a sol or integra and say. HEY can i take a plop in your seat and see if you like it. for your 01 civic

Yet they sit HIGHER than civic seats.

Do you have back problems? No.

Get del sol seats like said a couple of times. They do sit lower and are quite comfortable.

Ight, I spoz I'm in the market for a Del Sol seat... maybe seats ...... I think I will definetly go lurk around some Del Sols first as Vtecin94dx said to see if I can pimp one before buying...

Question though, do the Del Sol have the side air bags or will I have to bypass ?

Thank you all for your help.
