Want to introduce myself.
Good Morning Fella's my name is John Bunnell. I own a 1998 CW ITR. It is tore apart, I am installing a JDM front, and the motor is currently being sleeved to get ready for the full race/GT40r project that I have been working on. It should be done within 2 weeks, and I will post pictures then. I've used this site for some great info, but never posted because I thought I might be too old for y'all.

Yes sir. Like I say I will post pictures later on. I also am a car enthusiast like many of you here. Ever since my son took me for a ride in his ITR I was hooked. Im just making this for a track car, to show all the young people that we should keep racing off the streets.

Welcome Sir.
But you know there is a rule that on your welcome post there must be some sort of pics of your ITR
Enjoy your stay and please check out the Expo, it should make for a very enjoyable time. and maybe your badge could get a few of us out of trouble

I've been a fan since you were on Cops in the 80's.
Post pics as soon as you can.
Sounds like you should make an appearance at the Expo.
And there are a few of us older folk here, but you and George may be the closest in age.

Fortunately the ITR crowd is WAY more mature than the NSX crowd.

Apparently, they also flew past an Edmunds test driver. Thank you google.

Faint light painted the horizon when the Acuras zoomed by. Des Moines was still half an hour away. A long line of low, wide headlights appeared in the sideview mirror, and 8 Acura NSXs passed to the left, traveling fast enough to make the Outback feel as though it were standing still. Brief glimpses of license plates revealed that the NSX owners lived in New York, Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio. They disappeared as quickly as they appeared, and the pathetic chump in the Bonneville SSE that had been chasing them decided my relatively sedate 85 mph was more to his liking. He parked behind me until Des Moines, fog lights blaring on a cloudless night. Later in the week, Bud Wells, the auto writer for the Rocky Mountain News, did a story on the Acura NSX because the national owner’s club had met in Denver to show off their flashy Japanese iron. According to Bud, by the time that same platoon of NSXs had reached Sterling, Colo., they numbered 11 and the Colorado State Patrol had set up a road block on I-76 after the Acuras were clocked at 112 mph. The drivers were fined a hefty $300 each.
