removing headlights/corners

removing headlights/corners
i got the helm manual and it says to take the bumper off, do i have to?
BTW that manual is confusing right now both my corners dont work but the switch works because my bumper lights light up. so if the bulbs are good, then what can be the problem?
also, should i get clear bumper lights? should i get amber corners? or clear?
let me know what you think looks best right now im just leaning towards amber corners.

Corroded contacts mabey? Bad wiring?
