Greddy SS or DC ceramic???
So i am looking at getting either the Greddy Stainless header or the DC ceramic header. The price on both is pretty close ($299-$269 about). Both are 4-2-1 2 piece and both have carb#.
DC seems to be a pretty good all around header, good company, good fit, and no real problems i have heard of.
Greddy has allways made some great products. But i have never really header much about there headers.
I like the look of the stainless on the greddy, but does anyone know if the flanges are also stainless?
In theory the ceramic should be cooler under the hood, but i have not seen any real test results to prove this.
Any and all info would be great.

it really boils down to personally preference to which you think looks the best. even if ceramic, in theory, cools down better, the amount to which it cools that it would make a noticeable difference is questionable. i've had a ceramic and stainless header on my prelude before, and honestly couldn't tell the difference between the 2 besides cosmetically. both are good products, but i think greddy has a better rep overall...but both are good buys just have ur pick
DC all the way, there was a real header shootout, the DC made more power than the Greddy, it flows better(might have been the 4-1) why are you getting a 4-2-1??
are you trying to make mid range power or are you trying to make high RPM power?

IMO dont waste money on a header gains will be minimal at best....your cars power is more than enough I suggest working on suspension & safety. But if you must buy a header get a ceramic one piece.

As the suspension is pretty well set, and soon i will be making a roll cage along with 4 point harness and racing seats, also the brakes are getting all done. So that takes care of everything thing else, so yes I do need a bit more power and i think the header is just one piece of the power puzzle.

4-2-1 as it is a 2 piece so it is easier to install
and the ground clearance is important as it is a daily drive/ weekend fun car. And yes mid range power is more important to me than the high RPM power.

I do like that new "100% stainless steel brush finished" DC makes now for their headers(nice and stealthy
). 4-2-1 would be my choice for a daily driver. 4-1 would be my choice for the daily driver/track car.
