hey guys im just wondering about this thats bothering me
i bought this car awhile ago and i notice my tranny had no vin #
it has a jdm b18c r motor in the itr

wat bothers me is it illegal to have a tranny without a vin

if i got pulled over by a police wats going to happend =\

If the motor is in fact a jdm B18C then the your tranny will not have a vin on it. Its not that its supposed to....they just simply didn't have a vin on the tranny in japan as they do here in the states. If you can explain that should you ever get pulled over you will be fine. Anybody that concerned with your **** will know the difference....you need not worry IMO
