Here's the situation I have a 2000 GSR that was wrecked, someone crashed into the back of me and it pushed me into the truck in front, about 5k worth of damage depending on where and if I can find the right parts. I also bought a 95 LS with a way nice wide body kit on it, the only problem is that he didn't have the title. I thought I could just go get a duplicate title but he has a lean on it. So the question is, how hard would it be to take the VIN off of the GSR and put it on the 95? Not so much the difficulty but could I get away with it, just take everything out of the GSR and put it in the LS. Or could I fix the GSR with the parts off of the 95? Or should I just get my money back from the 95 and find another project??? Let me know if you guys have any good ideas.

 

You are MUCH better off finding a new one. If you dont have the title its a pretty useless car. And I guess you could get away with changing vins and all that but its not worth it if you get caught.

Well, how close is the 95 to the 2000? I know they changed some stuff in 98 but would they interchange at all? most of the damage on the gsr is in the front, in the back the bumper absorbed most of it.
