Default non-vtec valve covers?

what are the options on them? iv done some looking around and have mainly found valve covers and spark plug covers for the vtec heads but not for the LS non-vtec head so is my best bet gonna be to paint it or maybe powerder coat? did a search and someone on here does some powerder coating but i cant have my car down for waiting for cover in mail. thnx

Do a search in the AC forum and you'll find a lot of well-done DIY valve cover jobs.

Mugen makes one. But, I would go with a DIY route as well.

In a thread on painting rims, someone stated that they got their paint code and got a shop (maybe the dealer) to fill a spray can with code matched paint. He then painted his rims the same color as his car. For the valve cover though, dont u need some high temp paint? I wonder if they can match the code for a high temp paint.

Here's my newer b18b/b20 valve cover on my all motor LS. I filled the PCV hole and grooves and shaved the HONDA wording from the top. I then prepped it and painted it with VHT wrinkle paint.

Here's my valve cover painted with red vht paint. I sprayed it a little to thick so the wrinkles came out to much.

I really want it the color of my car and also i cant decide what color to get my AEM intake? dont have a color scheme to go with. My car is a metalic copper so i was thinking of the polished(crome) one but didnt know.

Why not just pick up a valve cover from a junk yard and have it powdercoated? My brother was able to find one in a junkyard, turn it in to the powdercoater and get it back in two days. I think he said it cost him about 120 dollars. Anyway, good luck.
