Default Who has JDM ITR flywheel in their GSR?

Hey guys,

Just wondering who has a JDM ITR flywheel in their GSR, and what were the differences in accelleration achieved?

I also heard that its possible to shave off a decent amount of weight off these FW's, is that true? and how much are we talking?

I've done a bit of a search already..

Cheers.

ur better off getting a aftermarket fly. the itr isnt that much lighter then a gsr's u wont see a really noticeable diff with that. its not really smart to lighten the stock fly

I understand im better off with an aftermarket fly but if i do get my hands on this it will be at a pretty decent price.. I just want to hear what peoples experiences are with the ITR FW..

i had one it worked fairly well. but id recommend aftermarket the itr one is good but cutting the weight of a stock one is bad news

Well I have an LS with an ITR flywheel in it.. and I could tell a little bit of a difference.. I was able to get mine for like $50 and had it resurfaced for $15
A LOT cheaper than an aftermarket one..

i had an itr on in my gsr about 3 yrs ago... it was marginally better then the gsr one, but not worth the cash in my opinion. Spend $200 and get a Fidanza flywheel.. 8.5 LBS... that will definitely be a noticable difference

i have one with an exedy clutch and i'm happy with it, since its mainly daily driven. but will probably get it shaved down to 12lbs. when i need a new clutch, which won't be for awhile since everything was just installed last year.
